ISC Class 12 Board Exams 2025 Conclude Heres When to Expect Results

New Delhi : The Council for the Indian School Certificate Examinations (CISCE) has officially concluded the Indian School Certificate (ISC) Class 12 board exams for the academic year 2024–25. The exams were held from February 13 to April 5, 2025. Meanwhile, the ICSE Class 10 board exams were conducted between February 18 and March 27, 2025.

With the successful completion of the examinations, attention now turns to the release of results. The ISC Class 12 results are expected to be announced by May 2025. In the previous year, the results were declared on May 6 at 11 AM, indicating a similar timeline may be followed this year as well.

Once declared, students will be able to access their ISC results via the official CISCE website — cisce.org — by entering their Unique ID and Index Number. However, the original hardcopy mark sheets will need to be collected from the respective schools.

ISC Result 2025: Trends from Past Years
Over the years, ISC results have consistently reflected high performance. In 2024, the overall pass percentage was an impressive 99.47%. Female students outperformed their male counterparts with a pass rate of 99.65%, compared to 99.31% for boys. In 2023, the overall pass percentage stood at 98.94%, with girls achieving 99.21% and boys 98.71%.

International CISCE-affiliated schools have also shown outstanding outcomes. In 2024, Class 10 students from schools in Indonesia, Singapore, and Dubai recorded a 100% pass rate, while Class 12 students from Singapore and Dubai achieved the same perfect result.

Re-evaluation and Improvement Exam Details
Students who are dissatisfied with their marks have the option to apply for re-evaluation or rechecking. This process is entirely online and requires a fee of ₹1,000 per subject. The re-evaluation results are expected to be released in August 2025.

Additionally, since the 2022–23 academic session, CISCE has introduced Improvement Examinations. This initiative allows students to improve their scores in one subject of their choice. The Improvement Exams are usually held in July, with results released in August.

Students and parents are advised to stay updated by regularly visiting the official CISCE website and checking with their schools for any official announcements regarding the results.
