The State Bank of India (SBI) has announced a new recruitment drive for the positions of Specialist Cadre Officers (SCO) and Reviewers, specifically for contractual positions based in Kolkata. This is a golden opportunity for experienced professionals in the banking, finance, and education sectors to work with India’s largest public sector bank.

Out of this, at least 3 years of experience must be in leadership roles, such as serving as a Dean or Department Head in a reputed academic institution or working in domains like BFSI (Banking, Financial Services and Insurance), Behavioral Science, or Leadership Development. This makes the role ideal for professionals with both corporate and academic exposure.

For the ERS Reviewer position, only retired officers from SBI or its associate banks (e-ABs) who have served in SMGS-IV or SMGS-V grades are eligible to apply.

SC, ST, PWD Candidates: No fee (exempted)

The fee must be paid online using debit/credit cards, net banking, or UPI. Applications without payment (if applicable) will not be considered.

The selection will be based on shortlisting and interview performance. SBI reserves the right to set cutoffs and call only those candidates who meet the expected qualifications and experience for the personal interview.

There will be no written examination, as this recruitment is for highly specialized roles requiring domain expertise and leadership capabilities.

Salary Structure
The selected candidates will be offered a monthly remuneration ranging from ₹50,000 to ₹65,000, depending on the candidate’s profile, experience, and job role. In addition to the base pay, certain perks or allowances may be applicable as per the contractual terms.
