Pune: The CSIR–National Chemical Laboratory (NCL), Pune, has announced recruitment for Project Associate I and Project Associate II positions under the Aroma Mission Project. This initiative focuses on research in aromatic plants and essential oils, aiming to promote sustainable agriculture and rural livelihood development.
The recruitment is open to candidates with postgraduate qualifications in chemistry or engineering backgrounds in chemical and petrochemical disciplines. For Project Associate I, applicants must hold a Master’s degree in Organic or Inorganic Chemistry or a Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering. For Project Associate II, candidates with a bachelor’s degree and two years of experience or a relevant Master’s degree are eligible.
The upper age limit for both posts is 35 years. The selected candidates will receive a monthly salary of ₹25,000 for Associate I and ₹28,000 for Associate II.
The application process is entirely online through jobs.ncl.res.in, and there is no application fee. The deadline to apply is May 5, 2025. Shortlisted candidates will be called for an interview on May 8.
