Mumbai : Good news for students who have completed a three-year diploma in agriculture-related fields—the admission process for direct entry into the second year of the B.Sc. Agriculture degree program is set to begin soon. The State Common Entrance Test Cell (CET Cell), Maharashtra, will be conducting the admissions and is expected to release the detailed schedule and guidelines in the coming days.
Every year, 10% of seats in agriculture degree colleges affiliated with the four state agricultural universities—Dr. Balasaheb Sawant Konkan Krishi Vidyapeeth (DBSKKV), Mahatma Phule Krishi Vidyapeeth (MPKV), Dr. Panjabrao Deshmukh Krishi Vidyapeeth (PDKV), and Vasantrao Naik Marathwada Krishi Vidyapeeth (VNMKV)—are reserved for diploma holders seeking lateral entry into the second year.
