The bank is currently hiring for the position of Manager – Trade Finance (Unit Manager) — a senior-level role aimed at strengthening the bank’s international trade operations and client servicing capabilities.
The selected candidate will be responsible for overseeing daily operations in Trade Finance, specifically in the areas of Imports, Exports, and Guarantees, while ensuring full compliance with internal policies, regulatory norms, and international banking standards such as ICC rules. The role involves close coordination with business lines to provide strategic support and expert advice to clients, helping them optimize cash flows and manage trade-related risks effectively.
Beyond daily operations, the job demands leadership in managing people and processes. The candidate will be expected to mentor teams, ensure service-level delivery, handle audits and reconciliations, and drive process improvements that enhance overall efficiency and service quality. There is a strong focus on risk management, regulatory compliance, and contributing to digitization initiatives in Trade Finance.
To be eligible, applicants must hold a degree in finance, economics, or a related field, along with professional qualifications such as IBSL Trade Diploma, CDCS, CITF, or CSDG. A Certified Trade Finance Professional certification from the International Chamber of Commerce (ICC) would be an added advantage. The bank is specifically looking for candidates with at least 14 years of relevant experience, including 10 years at a supervisory level. Excellent communication skills, people management abilities, and flexibility to work under pressure are key traits expected from applicants.
