New Delhi: The National Board of Examinations in Medical Sciences (NBEMS) has released the city intimation slips for NEET PG 2025, bringing the much-anticipated medical postgraduate entrance exam a step closer. Registered candidates can now log in to the official website nbe.edu.in to check the city where they will be appearing for the exam, scheduled to be held on June 23, 2025.

The city intimation slip is an important pre-admit card document that informs candidates about the exam city allotted to them, allowing them to begin necessary travel and accommodation planning well in advance. It is especially helpful for candidates who have been assigned centers far from their home cities. However, NBEMS has clarified that this document does not serve as the admit card and should only be treated as an advance intimation of location.

According to the official schedule, the NEET PG 2025 admit cards will be released on June 11, 2025. The exam will be conducted in computer-based mode and will include 200 multiple-choice questions across a duration of 3 hours and 30 minutes. It remains one of the most competitive exams in the country, serving as the gateway to MD, MS, and PG diploma courses across government and private medical colleges in India.

This year, over 2 lakh candidates are expected to appear for the examination. The NEET PG is considered a critical step in the career journey of MBBS graduates seeking specializations, and many coaching institutes have already started releasing final revision modules and strategy videos to help students make the most of the remaining few weeks.

As per the NBEMS guidelines, the exact address and exam center details will be available only in the admit card, which candidates can download using their application number and password from June 11 onwards. The results of NEET PG 2025 are expected to be announced by mid-July, followed by counselling through the Medical Counselling Committee (MCC).

Abhyspeeth advises all aspirants to download their city slips immediately, and if the allotted city is significantly distant or inaccessible, they should begin planning their travel and stay logistics without delay. Candidates with specific accommodation needs or medical assistance requirements must contact NBEMS helpline services early to avoid last-minute complications.

With less than three weeks remaining, students should now focus on final revisions, especially high-yield clinical subjects and mock test practice under exam conditions. Time management and accuracy will be key to cracking the exam.
