The Centre has invited applications for the post of Senior Project Fellow to support its Geothermal Energy Project, a high-altitude venture set to expand India’s renewable energy frontier.
Position Details
Title: Senior Project Fellow
Number of Posts: 01
Location: Delhi and Project Site (at ~4450m altitude)
Age Limit: 35 years
Eligibility Criteria
Candidates must meet one of the following academic qualifications:
M.Tech. or equivalent in Drilling Technology, Mechanical Engineering, or related fields, with at least 60% marks or equivalent grade
OR
B.Tech./M.Sc. in the above disciplines with a minimum of 60% marks, plus two years of drilling operations experience
Additionally, candidates with 1 year of project management experience will be preferred.
Role & Responsibilities
The selected fellow will assist in the effective execution of geothermal projects by:
Supervising drilling operations at the project site
Coordinating with various stakeholders including institutes and project partners
Preparing technical documents, proposals, agreements, and reports
Conducting field sampling and real-time project monitoring
Managing on-site logistics and compiling data for progress and job completion reports
This fellowship offers a fixed tenure assignment under the ONGC Energy Centre Trust and provides an exceptional opportunity to work on field-based clean energy solutions with national impact.
