(AAICLAS), a 100% subsidiary of the Airports Authority of India, has announced recruitment for the post of Assistant (Security) on a fixed-term contract of three years. The application process is now open and will continue until June 30, 2025, 5:00 PM. Selected candidates will be posted at various airports across the country and must be willing to serve on a Pan India basis.
This recruitment is part of AAICLAS’s strategic initiative to strengthen its presence in cargo logistics and ground handling operations at Indian airports. The organisation has clarified that applicants unwilling to accept all-India postings need not apply, as transfers may be made based on administrative and operational requirements.
The post of Assistant (Security) is open to graduates from any discipline. Candidates must have good communication skills and the ability to speak Hindi, English, and the local language of the area where they may be posted. Additional certifications such as the AVSEC 12-day course, Screening certification, or NCC background will be considered advantageous.
As per the official notification (Advt. No. 02 of 2025), the vacancies are spread across major airports such as Chennai, Goa, Patna, Vijayawada, Vadodara, and Port Blair. In total, over 160 posts have been advertised, with category-wise distribution across General, OBC, SC, ST, and EWS categories.
For instance, Chennai will see 54 vacancies, while Goa will have 53, and Vijayawada 24. Even smaller but strategically important stations like Port Blair and Vadodara are included in this drive. The number of posts may be increased or decreased at the discretion of AAICLAS management depending on future needs.
The selection process will be based on criteria set by AAICLAS and may include physical efficiency tests, interviews, or written assessments, depending on administrative decisions. The final merit list will be prepared station-wise, and engagement will be purely on contract basis without guarantee of regularisation.
Applicants are advised to read the full advertisement available on the official AAICLAS website, prepare their documents, and submit their applications well before the deadline.
This recruitment drive presents a promising opportunity for young graduates looking to enter the aviation and logistics industry with a government-linked enterprise that is steadily growing its footprint nationwide.
