Mumbai: The Ministry of Culture, Government of India, has invited online applications for multiple posts at the Nehru Science Centre (NSC), Mumbai, and its satellite units across the country. The recruitment is being undertaken by the National Council of Science Museums (NCSM), under whose jurisdiction several regional and district science centres operate. Interested and eligible candidates can apply online for the posts advertised under different units until June 16, 2025.
At the Nehru Science Centre in Mumbai (Advt. No. NSCM/03/2025), a total of 19 vacancies have been announced. These include posts such as Technical Assistant ‘A’ in Computer and Mechanical disciplines, Education Assistant ‘A’, Exhibition Assistant ‘A’, Junior Stenographer, Technician ‘A’ in various trades like Fitter, Electrical, Carpenter, and Civil Draftsman, and Office Assistant (Grade III). These posts span across pay levels ranging from Level-2 (₹19,900–₹63,200) to Level-5 (₹29,200–₹92,300).
Alongside the main centre in Mumbai, several other satellite centres have also released their own advertisements for recruitment. The Raman Science Centre & Planetarium, Nagpur (Advt. No. RSCN/01/2025) has announced two Technician ‘A’ posts in the trades of Carpentry and Computer Hardware & Networking.
In Bhopal, the Regional Science Centre (RSC) (Advt. No. RSCB/01/2025) has released notifications for three Technician ‘A’ posts in Carpentry and Fitting, along with one Office Assistant (Grade III) position.
Meanwhile, the Goa Science Centre & Planetarium, Panaji (Advt. No. GSCP/02/2025) is inviting applications for a Technician ‘A’ post in the Electrical trade, and the District Science Centre, Dharampur (Advt. No. DSCD/01/2025) has opened recruitment for Education Assistant ‘A’ and Office Assistant (Grade III).
