National Insurance Company Limited (NICL), a Government of India undertaking, has released a recruitment notification inviting online applications for 266 Administrative Officer (AO) Scale I posts across the country. The application process began on 12th June 2025 and will continue till 3rd July 2025. This recruitment drive includes both Generalist and Specialist positions, offering opportunities for graduates and professionals in fields such as Law, Finance, IT, Automobile Engineering, and Medicine.
According to the official announcement, a total of 170 posts have been reserved for Generalist officers, while 96 posts are for Specialists, including backlog vacancies. The recruitment also includes horizontal reservation for Persons with Benchmark Disabilities (PwBD) across categories such as visual, hearing, locomotor, and intellectual disabilities.
The Phase I Preliminary Examination is tentatively scheduled for 20th July 2025, while the Phase II Mains Examination will be conducted around 31st August 2025. Admit cards for the preliminary exam will be made available closer to the exam date. The detailed advertisement will also be published in the Employment News edition dated 21st June 2025.
Candidates must note that only online applications will be accepted, and no other mode of application is allowed. Applicants from the OBC Creamy Layer category are not eligible for reservation benefits and must apply under the Unreserved category.
