Hyderabad: The Electronics Corporation of India Limited (ECIL), a Public Sector Enterprise under the Department of Atomic Energy, Government of India, has announced recruitment for 80 Graduate Engineer Trainee (GET) posts across multiple disciplines. The notification, dated 16 May 2025, invites applications from dynamic and talented young engineers for roles at ECIL’s headquarters in Hyderabad and its zonal, branch, and project offices located across India.
Founded with a vision to support India’s strategic sectors, ECIL has been instrumental in the development of technologies like Electronic Voting Machines, Solid State Televisions, Cockpit Voice Recorders, Deep Space Network Antennas, and various defence-grade equipment. The organisation continues to serve in key domains including Nuclear, Defence, Aerospace, Information Technology, Telecom, Cybersecurity, and e-Governance.
The current recruitment drive aims to fill 80 vacancies in seven engineering disciplines: Electronics (including ECE and E&TC), Computer Science/IT, Mechanical, Electrical (EEE), Civil, Instrumentation, and Chemical Engineering. Candidates applying must possess a four-year full-time engineering degree with a minimum of 60% marks from an AICTE-approved or government-recognised university. The upper age limit for general category candidates is 27 years as on 30 April 2025. Relaxations in age will be applicable as per government norms.
The pay scale for GETs ranges from ₹40,000 to ₹1,40,000. Selected candidates will be placed in key functional areas like Manufacturing, Design and Development, Projects, Marketing, Production, QA, and CBRN systems.
Importantly, candidates holding dual or combination degrees such as Mechatronics, Automobile Engineering, or Construction Engineering are not eligible for these posts. The notification clarifies that no equivalent qualifications will be considered under this recruitment.
