New Delhi : RailTel Corporation of India Ltd., a Mini-Ratna PSU under the Ministry of Railways, has invited applications for 48 posts across four major roles, offering a lucrative career opportunity in India’s expanding telecom and IT infrastructure sector. The recruitment includes positions for Deputy Managers in Network/IP and Signalling, and Assistant Managers in Marketing and Finance.
According to the official notice, the Deputy Manager (Technical – Network/IP) and Deputy Manager (Technical – Signalling) posts are offered at E-1 level with a pay scale of ₹40,000–1,40,000 and an estimated CTC of ₹12 lakh per annum, in addition to performance-related pay up to 40% of the basic. Similarly, Assistant Manager (Marketing) and Assistant Manager (Finance) positions are offered at E-0 level, carrying a pay scale of ₹30,000–1,20,000 and an estimated CTC of ₹9 lakh per annum, also with up to 40% annual performance pay.
Out of the 48 total vacancies, 21 are unreserved, while the remaining are distributed among OBC (13 posts), SC (8), ST (1), and EWS (5) categories. The recruitment also provides 4 posts for Persons with Benchmark Disabilities (PwBDs) under various sub-categories including visually and hearing impaired, orthopedically handicapped, cerebral palsy, leprosy cured, and autism spectrum disorder.
It is important to note that the PwBD vacancies are not additional but included within the total count of 48 posts. The notification emphasizes that the number of vacancies is tentative and may be revised or withdrawn depending on administrative and business needs.
