New Delhi: The results of the NIPER JEE 2025 (National Institute of Pharmaceutical Education and Research – Joint Entrance Examination) have been officially declared, bringing clarity and excitement to thousands of pharmacy graduates across India. Conducted on June 10, 2025, this national-level entrance exam is the gateway to some of the country’s most prestigious postgraduate and doctoral programs in pharmaceutical sciences.
Held across multiple centres including Mohali, Hyderabad, Guwahati, and Kolkata, the exam saw participation from over 15,000 pharmacy graduates, out of which more than 7,000 candidates have successfully qualified this year. The merit list has been published in PDF format on the official NIPER website (niper.gov.in), detailing All India Ranks (AIRs) for each candidate and program, across all reservation categories.
NIPER JEE is considered the most competitive exam for pharmacy postgraduates in India. It offers admission to a wide range of courses such as M.S. (Pharm), M.Pharm, M.Tech (Pharm), MBA (Pharm) and PhD programs in drug discovery, regulatory affairs, pharmaceutical technology, management, and biomedical sciences. Admission through this exam is available to various NIPER institutes including those at Mohali, Ahmedabad, Hajipur, Guwahati, Hyderabad, Kolkata, and Raebareli.
With the results now out, NIPER’s counselling process is expected to begin in mid-July, with candidates being required to upload documents, verify certificates, and participate in course-specific selection rounds. For MBA (Pharm), a Group Discussion and Personal Interview (GD-PI) will be conducted, while PhD candidates will go through interview panels for final selection. Seat allotments and admission confirmations will be made by the end of July.
Candidates are advised to download their scorecards and carefully go through counselling instructions, eligibility criteria, and document requirements. Original GPAT/GATE/NET scorecards, degree certificates, reservation proofs (if applicable), and ID documents will be essential for securing admission.
This year’s NIPER JEE not only witnessed a rise in the number of applicants but also a stronger showing from tier-2 cities and government pharmacy colleges, showing the increasing depth of pharmaceutical talent across India. The results mark an important step for the next generation of pharmacists, researchers, and pharmaceutical business leaders, as they move closer to shaping India’s innovation landscape in healthcare and medicine
