Mumbai : The State Common Entrance Test (CET) Cell of Maharashtra has officially kickstarted the admission process for postgraduate courses such as M.Tech, MCA, and Hotel Management. The application window is now open, and students can submit their online applications along with scanned documents until July 9, 2025.
Following the registration, candidates will have time from July 2 to July 10 for document verification, either online or offline. The provisional merit list will be declared on July 13, giving students a chance to review their standings. If any discrepancies or objections arise, students can submit their grievances between July 14 and 16. The final merit list will be published on July 18, 2025.
Importantly, candidates who fail to register or complete their document verification before the deadline will not be eligible for the regular CAP (Centralized Admission Process) rounds. However, they can still participate in institute-level admission rounds.
The registration fees vary by course and category. For M.Tech and MCA, the fee is ₹1,200 for general category students and ₹1,000 for reserved category students. For Hotel Management, general category students will pay ₹1,000, while reserved category students will pay ₹800.
After the final merit list is released, students will be asked to submit their college and course preferences. The schedule for preference filling and further CAP rounds will be announced separately by the CET Cell.
Students are advised to complete the application and document verification process within the given time frame and regularly check the official CET Cell website for updates.
