Pune: The State Common Entrance Test (CET) cell has decided to cancel the separate CET for BHMCT (Hotel Management and Catering Technology) and combine it with the BBA-BCA-BMS-BBM courses.
Therefore, the CET cell has clarified that from this year onwards, a single ‘MAH-BHMCT / BCA / BBA / BMS / BBM-CET 2026’ exam will be conducted for all these five courses. This combined CET will be held from April 28 to 30.
A time limit of 120 minutes has been fixed for ‘MAH-BHMCT / BCA / BBA / BMS / BBM-CET 2026′. The leaflet also informed that the detailed syllabus of the exam has been published on the CET cell’s website. Students, parents and educational institutions were appealed to take note of this change.
Students’ confusion, exam-management costs will be reduced
Earlier, two separate exams were conducted for BHMCT and four other courses. In comparison, conducting a single exam will reduce students’ confusion, preparation stress and exam-management costs, the CET office has said.
