Pune: MPSC had announced the preliminary exam on December 21. On the same day, the date of counting of votes for the Municipal Council and Panchayat Samiti elections was fixed. Therefore, MPSC decided on Monday to conduct this exam on January 4.
However, during that time, the UGC NET exam for the post of Assistant Professor will be held.
Due to this, the two exams coming on the same day have created confusion among the candidates again. It has been decided to conduct the Joint Preliminary Exam Group ‘B’ (Non-Gazetted) exam conducted by the Maharashtra Public Service Commission on January 4. In the meantime, i.e. between December 31 and January 7, the UGC-NET exam is being held. Therefore, the question has arisen before the candidates as to which exam to take.
In this regard, Mahesh Gharbude, president of the Competitive Examination Students Association, said, on the one hand, the exams are not being held on time. If the schedule is announced, two exams are being held together. Due to this, many may have to miss one exam. Therefore, everyone’s attention is now on whether the commission will conduct the exam on the same day or there will be changes in it.
