Pune : As the semester completion of about 1 lakh students in colleges affiliated to Savitribai Phule Pune University has been completed, the PRN numbers of these students have been blocked. It was decided in the University’s Academic Council and Management Council to give these students a chance to appear for the exam again. Even though more than fifteen days have passed, the university’s examination department has not yet issued a final circular regarding the examination regulations for these students.
It is expected that the decision on the PRN-blocked students will be made by November 25. The examination applications of all the students included under this decision of the university will be started separately. Under this, the completion of the semester in the academic year 2025-26 of the eligible students, the requirement to complete the last year from their original college, the original period included in various courses from time to time will also be scrutinized.
Work is also underway to create a system in this regard. All information regarding session completion or PRN will be taken only from the university’s own database and the university has not appointed any person or group of persons for this. A circular explaining the procedure for the examination of PRN block students will also be issued in due course, said the in-charge Director of Examinations and Evaluation of the university, Dr. Prabhakar Desai, through a circular.
