Mumbai : The Maharashtra State Common Entrance Test Cell has announced that a re-examination for the MHT-CET 2025 (PCM group) will be held on May 5, following technical issues that disrupted the exam on April 27. The re-exam aims to ensure that all students get a fair and uninterrupted opportunity to appear for this crucial engineering entrance test.
According to the CET Cell, around 27,837 candidates who faced server failures and login errors at various exam centers will be eligible to reappear for the test. These students have been individually informed through email and SMS, and are advised to download their fresh admit cards from the official website:

On April 27, many test centers reported technical breakdowns, especially during the login process, which prevented students from starting or completing their exams. The CET Cell immediately launched an internal inquiry and decided to reschedule the test for affected candidates.
Students and parents had raised concerns about the fairness of the exam, given the varying degrees of disturbance at centers across the state. The re-exam is an attempt to restore parity and maintain the integrity of the entrance process.
